Biography

Michael Peters currently holds the title of Regional Vice President of HCI Systems, Inc. Mr. Peters’ career spans 3 decades in the communications, security and fire-life safety industry. He began his career in 1984 after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University in Long Beach, California. Over the past 25+ years, Mr. Peters has received both classroom training, in-field experience, and applied practical knowledge in the areas of:

Distributed Antenna Systems for Emergency Responder Radio Coverage

CCTV Cameras

Access Control (card access, vehicle entry, visitor entry and management, etc.)

Intrusion Alarm

Intercom and Communication Systems

Fire Alarm/Life Safety (including high-rise and voice evacuation systems)

Mass Notification

Wireless Communication (WIFI Access Points)

Audio/Video

Single and Multi-System Integration

Mr. Peters currently holds the following professional certifications and licensing:

NICET (National Institute of Certified Engineering Technologists) - Level III

Since 1986, Mr. Peters has performed design, consulting, system implementation and support services for hundreds of clients. He has extensive expertise in the areas of commercial, industrial, medical, educational, entertainment, multi-family and mixed use facilities.

Biography

Mike Schmitt currently holds the title of DAS Project Manager for HCI Systems, Inc. Mr. Schmitt has been in the low voltage cable industry for 25 years and the DAS emergency responder radio installation for over 8 years. He is a Southern California native, born in Los Angeles and raised in Orange County. Mike started out his career in the low voltage industry in 1991, working on small business phone systems and installing voice/data cable infrastructures, for both commercial and residential projects. Throughout his career, Mr. Schmitt has received certified classroom training, in-field experience and applied practical knowledge in the following areas:

Distributed Antenna Systems for Emergency Responder Radio Coverage

Cellular Enhancement and Cellular Facility Integration (small cell and base stations)

Point to Point Wireless Networks

Fiber Optic Installation, Termination and Fiber Certification Testing

Business Phone Systems (installation and programming)
