Summary

Michel Roberts of Innovative Concert Lighting presents technologies related to integrating building lighting into building emergency systems.

Items to be covered are:

  • How building alarm panel may be utilized to turn on exit lighting when building goes into alarm for assisted living, hospitals, student housing, or any commercial property such as an office building or entertainment venue.
  • How to utilized fire protection release panel used for preaction systems and clean agent systems commonly used in data centers, museums, and college libraries to turn on exit lighting as well as turn off non related lighting.
  • How to engineer a lighting system that assists building occupants to the most efficient egress from a building.
  • What the new NEC 924 rules are for emergency lighting power and control and what kinds of applications those new rules apply to.
  • Introduce participants to ETC who offers participants the widest product line for emergency lighting power transfer and control systems.

Biography

Mr. Roberts directs lighting control installation and exhibit lighting for Innovative Concert Lighting, Inc. utilizing Electronic Theater Controls (ETC) products for commercial and entertainment construction projects up and down the state of California and across the United States.  Michael’s primary focus is California Title 24 system design and cross-platform lighting control System integration.
