James McHugh - AGF Manufacturing, Inc..

Description

James will be presenting the NFPA 13 (2016) code sections requiring air vents on all wet pipe fire sprinkler systems.  This is now mandatory for all installations in the State of California.  James will also be reviewing new product lines available for detection of corrosion on both Wet and Dry fire sprinkler systems.

Biography

Although involved with AGF from its inception, Jim McHugh started full time in the sprinkler industry directly after completing college in the early 90's.  Over the years Jim has been involved in all aspects of AGF Manufacturing Inc. including marketing, production, operations, and of course sales.  In addition to his managerial and marketing duties Jim has also been instrumental in the development of a number of new and innovative AGF Patented products.  In addition to being an active member of NFPA, NFSA, AFSA, and SFPE Jim has been a guest speaker at annual RIMS (Risk Insurance Management Society), BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association), SFPE, ASCET, and ASPE meetings.
