Speaker

Jerry Schultz with The Fire Protection International Consortium

Jerry Schultz is a Principal with The Fire Protection International Consortium, a security and fire protection consulting engineering firm.  He is a recognized speaker on fire protection issues and teaches the NFPA 13 seminar nationwide.  He is an alternate on the 13 committee and has over 35 years experience in the field.

Summary

He will be talking on those issues in NFPA 13 where we as an industry, interpret things differently than  the pure black and white letter of the code.   He will be exploring issues where unwritten understandings impact how we protect a building or a hazard.  Come and see if you have any of these variances/equivalencies/interpretations that you follow.  Although Jerry will be presenting specific topics, he welcomes your input sharing your unwritten understandings.
