The Southern California Chapter of SFPE invites you to an in-person or virtual presentation on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Applications and Standards.

This presentation will provide an overview of BESS applications, system configurations, and the key standards and codes governing their design and installation, including NFPA 855, CFC Chapter 12, and UL 9540A. The presentation will also discuss the role of fire protection and life safety considerations in the design, installation, and evaluation of BESS facilities.
