    Description: 

    AHJs, FPEs, insurance underwriters, contractors, facility managers, and manufacturers will benefit from this presentation by:

    • Reviewing applicable codes and standards, including symmetry and continuity requirements
    • Clarifying product testing and listings, including “Duct A” and “Duct B” distinctions
    • Exploring applications like kitchen exhaust, fan enclosures, and alternatives to FRR enclosures (pressurization and exhaust), shafts, and dampers
    • Understanding UMC/IMC/CMC/ASHRAE 15 changes and fire-rated protection requirements for A2L refrigerants

    Biography: 

    Matt Page is the Regional Technical Sales Manager at Conquest Flamebar. With over 12 years of experience in the fire protection industry, Matt has held various roles, starting as a Project Manager for a fire sprinkler contractor before transitioning to the product manufacturing side. Since joining Conquest in 2022, he has expanded his expertise into the HVAC space while maintaining a strong focus on fire protection. In his current role, Matt collaborates with project stakeholders at all levels, offering solutions and guidance for fire-rated ventilation systems across diverse applications. Based in San Diego, Matt enjoys life with his wife Jessica and their dog Pepper.
